Faucet Repair and Installation

Plumber Repairs Faucet and Sink.

Don’t Let Money Run Down the Drain

When it comes to residential leaks, faulty faucets are often to blame. In fact, the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) suggests that the average American family wastes approximately 180 gallons of water each year on water leaks. Over time, these seemingly insignificant trickles can accumulate into increased water bills and, depending on their location, have the potential to cause damage to your home. Fortunately, if you have a leaky faucet repair and replacement are not all that difficult as leaks are often caused by corroded washers, worn-out O-rings, or damaged seals. If you are experiencing these or other issues, reach out to the plumbing professionals at My Plumbers LLC. All our plumbers are licensed, and we have decades of experience installing and repairing faucets. Don’t let money trickle down the drain. Instead, dial 828-708-7107 to get started.

Common Problems That Impact Faucets

Leaky faucets are often caused by some of the following things.

  • Damaged cartridges. If your faucet has two handles — one for hot and one for cold — you have a cartridge-style faucet. Cartridges are valves on each handle that control the flow of water into faucet spouts. A dripping faucet is often caused by a damaged cartridge.
  • Malfunctioning O-ring. An O-ring is a small disc attached to the stem screw that holds the faucet in place. When O-rings wear out, they don’t function as well and can cause leaks.
  • Damaged valve seat. The valve seat connects the faucet to the spout, and if sediment builds up and corrodes the seat, leaks can occur.
  • Low water pressure. Aerators are located on the tip of faucets and allow water to flow out. Clogged aerators and clogged cartridges can lower the pressure of water coming out of the faucet. Clogs are often caused by minerals in hard water.
  • Worn out washer. A worn-out washer is one of the most common causes of a dripping faucet. Each time you turn on the water, the washer is forced against the valve seat. This constant friction can cause it to wear out and drip as a result.

Give us a ring, and silence the drip.

A small leak can waste about three gallons of water per day. Larger leaks can send upwards of 30 gallons of water down the drain. There are many reasons why a faucet may leak, and in most situations, it’s best to reach out to the professionals for assistance with your leak to prevent more serious issues from arising. Call the experts at My Plumbers LLC, and we can help. Dial 828-708-7107 and let us help.

There are two ways to get quality work done in your home. Find someone like My Plumbers, with the experience, knowledge, and work ethic to do it right the first time. Or pay someone else to do it the first time and then get My Plumbers to fix it for you after. Its better for everyone involved if you just go with My Plumbers from the start. Trust me. If you are wondering who to trust with your home, take this as your sign. Trust and quality work are the most important to me. And they deliver both. There is a reason they are 5 stars. They have earned every one of those stars. They have repaired a number of issues in my home now, and educated me as a homeowner on how to better care for my home, saving me time, frustration, and money in the long run. I could go on and on, but this review is probably long enough to get the point across. I cant say enough positive things about them. Book the appointment.

Assessed leak in tub; no leak found at present. Damage had occurred following major water outage and service restoration. Advised to resume use and monitor. Then rebuilt a sink fixture while on site.

My Plumbers were wonderful to work with. I requested a 3bay sink and hand-washing sink to be installed in a commercial space. They worked hard to figure out the best and most cost effective way to get the job done properly. From start to finish they were responsive to questions, on time, professional and worked hard to troubleshoot any issues that arose. Completely satisfied with their service and work. Will definitely choose their business for any future plumbing needs.

Stephen of My Plumbers is a gem! He has been to our home several times for several different plumbing needs, from clean and neat indoor jobs to outside in the mud dealing with supply line problems. He really knows plumbing, and he always seeks to do the job carefully, completely, and correctly, seeking not just to solve plumbing problems but to be helpful as he does so. I find his professionalism and personal character to be tops. I trust him to be in our home, plus he's quite friendly and makes for good conversation when he is in our home. I'm very glad to have Stephen as My Plumber.

I've used these guys at least four times now both for big and small jobs (underground pipes feeding the house, filtration system, kitchen sink replacement, shower repair/replacement). They are simply the best! Honest, hard working, and you can be assured that they'll do the job correctly because they know exactly what they are doing. Extremely knowledgeable. Thanks!
